In July 2020, the State Track API was developed by our CTO (a.k.a. cc32d9) on request of the EOSIO wallet Scatter, with the goal of collecting and providing the information about NFT ownership, and returning the list of assets quickly.

The API has been hosted by EOS Amsterdam, starting from July 2020, and has mainly been used for displaying SimpleAssets data in the Bloks block explorer, as well as other projects. As the technology evolved, both Atomic Assets and Simple Assets have developed their own APIs for displaying the asset information, and the use of State Track API has continued to decline.

Following this development, we have shut down our instance of the State Track API, and we will use the server capacity and gained experience in other NFT-related projects. We are now hosting an instance of Atomic Assets API for public use as well.

Stay tuned, as we are working on new exciting blockchain projects, and will share a new update with you soon!
