EOS Amsterdam Sponsors The Light API Project

Hello everyone! Over the past months we have been very busy with a lot of projects such as Wordproof, Europechain, bridging the global community with Korean and Chinese communities and many more.

Today we are proud to announce our partnership with a new project: the Light API project by well-known community member cc32d9. EOS Amsterdam has contributed 500 EOS along with Newdex, who have contributed 100 EOS to fund version 2 development of the project.

The Light API currently provides two fundamental functions for the EOS blockchain: retrieving all token balances and resources for an account and retrieving all accounts in all known EOS networks dependent on a public key, and will have many other functions such as code hash indexing, bandwith delegation tracking and many more. All planned functions can be found here.

A new development version of Chronicle also adds support for the upcoming version of nodeos, nodeos-1.8. This will secure the API for future updates in the core network and possible changes in EOS consensus.
